Journalist Damodar Neupane’s ninth creation ‘Gharko Shiskshya (Education of Home)’ was launched amidst a programme in the capital today. Education expert Prof Dr Bidyanath Koirala along with psycho-social counselor Bijaya Gyawali and general-secretary of Teachers’ Association Laxmi Kishor Subedi jointly launched the book. Through the book, writer Neupane has made attempt to impart a psychological message to inspire children to become ideal and happy. The book is focused on sensitizing parents for their cautious engagement in connecting their children with learning and culture. Laying emphasis that each family’s guardians should impart cultural and psychological education to children,

the participants said the book has incorporated contents related to information, technology, religion and culture. On the occasion, Prof Dr Koirala said the book was successful in communicating a message that other mediums can be more useful than books and literature when parents were found dictating their children ignoring latter’s psychology. The book is an attempt to educate homes, families and societies on the topics such as foundation of culture, creative learning, personality development and presentation skills. The Shikha Books Publications has brought out the book at market.
